Behavioral Health
The Behavioral Health Program offers a variety of options for American Indian/Alaska Native youth, adolescents and adults. Services include mental health and substance abuse screenings, evaluations, individual, family and group sessions, case management and recovery support services. Referrals can be made to residential and detoxification programs. We are also available to provide psychological and psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and consultations with other clinic divisions to provide coordinated care. We accept referrals from:
- Courts, Probation & Parole
- Social Services
- Schools
- Victim Services
- Human Resources
- Self-referrals and parents or caretakers
Referrals are coordinated for eligible clients/patients who need residential and/or detoxification treatment. Our staff works directly with the Indian Health Service Phoenix Area Indian Health Service’s Substance Abuse Program staff to arrange for residential treatment at the approved contracted facilities. Our staff have received training and incorporated the following therapeutic treatment approaches:
- Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)
- Change Companies Interactive Journaling (IJ)
- Motivational Enhancement Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (MET-CBT)
- Tobacco Cessation
Talking Circles
Talking Circles are held each Tuesday, 5:30-7:30 p.m. at FTHC Behavioral Health Program located at 999 Rio Vista Drive, Fallon, Nevada.
